Vedic Meditation Initiator Training May 2, 2016December 1, 2020 The Broad Place Vedic Initiator Teaching Training There are so many components to teaching authentically in the Vedic tradition. Jacqui has undertaken many in depth courses in the last decade in Vedic knowledge from masters and scholars of Vedic knowledge in Australia and in India. Taking her personal study very seriously, she has studied Yoga, Buddhism, Mindfulness, Taoism, Vedanta and Ayurveda for over 17 years. It is this depth of experience and passion for learning that makes her an exceptional teacher. Coupling knowledge and a refined art of teaching, with her 15 years of experience as an entrepreneur, Jacqui has rapidly become one of Australia’s most successful teachers, teaching large groups of meditators in cities around the world. She knows first hand that being a successful teacher of Vedic meditation far extends the art of selecting a mantra and hosting a meditation course. Integrity, passion, creativity and relishing the responsibility bestowed upon you as a teacher to your students results in excellent work as a Vedic meditation teacher. Excelling in these modern times as a teacher also requires an understanding of communication and business, all areas Jacqui has trained and coached businesses and brands in, for over a decade as a brand strategist and previously as a founding principal of a marketing and advertising agency. The time to integrate the richness of a modern life, with deep ancient practices is now, and there is no better person to learn this from than Jacqui. “I truly believe that creating brilliant teachers of Vedic meditation is in alignment with what is needed in our modern societies. The thirst for this technique delivered in a modern, relevant way by dynamic, engaged teachers is needed more than ever” The Initiator Training course with The Broad Place is just over 12 months in length and is in alignment with the highest grade courses available. Our offering is intensive and detailed, and we believe it has to be to create the best Vedic meditation teachers that have integrity, knowledge and not just a comprehensive understanding of teaching, but authenticity, confidence and increased consciousness. This course is not for the faint-hearted. The transformation that takes place during training, but more importantly as a teacher is profound, and is not one to be taken lightly. Teachers of Vedic meditation are also called Initiators, as we initiate people into the Vedic tradition through meditation. Teaching Vedic Meditation is not only a life changing experience for the teacher and student, it is also a great honour in the Vedic tradition to share this knowledge. We structure the course with in-depth immersions throughout the year, and weekly and monthly check ins. Words from our current trainees undertaking the training.. “I signed up for Teacher Training with The Broad Place out of a burning desire to teach others this life changing technique and carve out a career for myself that would not only help others, but would make room for a more enriched life. What I didn’t realise however, was the incredible transformational personal journey I was about to go on. Vedic teacher training is by far the most expansive experience I’ve ever undertaken. It stretches you, encourages you to explore your own consciousness, allows you to objectively look at your ego and work through your own patterns and behaviours, all while simultaneously stress is lifting from your nervous system. The Vedic knowledge is simply a bonus (albeit incredible) to this rare opportunity to expand your awareness and step further into your own truth. The course is beautifully structured and Jac’s teaching has bucket loads of humour and humility. The support is unparalleled and there is a beauty and grit to the training that can’t be described, but can only be felt as a student. I can honestly say it’s the best gift I have ever given myself.” – Elise “I am thrilled to be undertaking Vedic meditation initiator training with Jacqui Lewis at The Broad Place. I originally signed up as I wanted to share the gift of Vedic meditation with others but the rigorous training has already provided so much more than this including an incredible immersion in this beautiful spiritual wisdom, amazing support from Jac, her team and my fellow trainees (whom I already know we will be lifelong friends), as well as a deep dive into my own spiritual self. Though it is certainly not for the faint-hearted. The training requires dedication, lots of hard work, self study and commitment of time, but somehow I’m managing whilst looking after my family, working full time and we even moved house! Thank you Jac it’s been an adventure and I know the ride has only just begun… Jai Guru Deva” – Anna “I remember talking to Jacqui about potentially joining her IT course as it was something I had been toying with in the back of my mind, the look of excitement in her eyes as she said ‘this will change your life you can’t even imagine’ and I couldn’t. Now having almost completed my studies and not even started teaching yet it has already been an amazing experience, the impact the knowledge and process has had on me is profound, my outlook and approach to life has transformed but with her very real, relatable and honest approach has allowed me to stay very much present and relevant in the world so to speak and develop my own style as to how I want to move forward in my life and teach; the excitement of being able to pass this technique on to many others is something I am bursting at the seams to start doing and I can just feel the support of nature. I can’t recommend enough if something in your gut is telling you this could be a good idea.. it is!” – Janoah Expressions Of Interest We don’t have the dates at the moment for our next Initiator Training and we don’t know yet on when we can finalise the details but if you wish to be on a wait list, please send us an email at firstname.lastname@example.org The curriculum will be supplied on application of the program with The Broad Place. There will be a detailed application process to ensure that all teachers in training are aware of the intensity and undertakings of a course like this. There are of course the prerequisites of having learnt Vedic or Transcendental Meditation (or the same technique under a different banner) and there are also concurrent knowledge courses that need to have been completed or can be taken at any time on Vedic Knowledge.
