L E T T E R from Jac – Judging Ourselves and Others

Something we touched on the other night at our Workshop at Lilium, is that if we want to let go of the fear of what other people think of us, we have to let go of our judgements of others. They are directly correlated. The more we judge, the more our minds fear judgement. The less we engage with judgement, the less we are worried about it. Now it’s very hard to stop the thinking mind, which is quite literally always judging. I like to think of my thoughts as being written in pencil, and it’s only the ones that I believe that then get inked in pen. So we want to be conscious of what we pen, and just let the others be erased out. Just because we thought it doesn’t mean it’s true, it’s just true if we believe the thought.

And I like this quote, “If you judge people you have no time to love them” as it’s good motivation for being less judgemental. I would also like to add in, that if we judge ourselves, we have no time to love ourselves. So let’s also direct that inward.

Written with love,

Jac x
