L E T T E R from Jac – The Workings of Consciousness

Moving into higher states of consciousness means that we can have deeper relationships, are calmer and centered, are less involved in emotional drama and are highly intuitive. In Sanskrit, Karma means the spirit in action. It is where our actions have created binds to our past. This also means the impressions and patterns that are ingrained in the mind over time, and into the body’s cells. These are called Samskaras in Sanskrit. Our mind and body are literally a print out of all the experiences we have ever encountered. Our consciousness is clouded by our Karma at times, and getting clarity is to work beyond this. To dive deeper into the true essence of who we are, and lift these Samskaras from our nervous system, which is what Integrated Meditation harnesses.

The Witness or Knower becomes increasingly easier to work with from here. We begin to see our patterns, the grooves of the mind that we continually drive down, and have increased awareness surrounding our belief systems and ideologies. Most of which are not even our own but that we have adopted from other people over time. There is freedom from fear and an ability to live only in the present moment. We are no longer subject to projections into the future or the past.  There is peace in everything and the world makes perfect sense to us.

Of course, this isn’t like we graduate from one year of school to the next, and it doesn’t happen overnight. It’s usually a gradual process or learning and unlearning different ways of being. Of searching for the underlying truth in it all. How are you working with this process personally?
